14 Days of Love Day 4: Guest Post and Giveaway with Author T.J. Michaels

Buy Seratis Flame Here
Hi everyone! I'm author, TJ Michaels, and I'd like to wish all the wonderful ladies at The Order a happy Valentine's Day. Thanks so much for having me. I'd like to present Alaan Serati. He's a Seeker, which is kind of like vampire law enforcement. He's graciously *snort* agreed to hang out with us and yes, he and his gorgeously deep voice *think Barry White, ladies* will be up for auction on the big day. So without further ado, I present Alaan Serati. Alaan, come on in and tell everyone about yourself.
*Alaan walks in, sits down in the interview chair and waves*
Hi. I'm Alaan Serati. I'm the Second-in-command to the Head Seeker of the Vampire Council of Ethics. The Council takes care of their vamp constituents, and we, the Seekers, keep the peace. In short, I kick ass. Literally.
My woman, Tameth, talked me into this crazy idea but now that I take a look around, maybe it's not quite so crazy after all. Lots of good looking women here at The Order. And I hear that TJ is going to give away something with my face on it, in addition to the whole auction thing so good luck to all of you. Anyway, back to business. I'm about 6'4", blond hair, blue eyes, blah blah blah. My favorite weapons are my size thirteen boots and perhaps my gun. Well, mostly the boots.
*Alaan turns and addresses someone behind him off camera*
Alaan: So what else?
Female Voice off-stage: Perhaps tell them about your wonderful wife?
Alaan: I'm supposed to get auctioned off here. How many women do you think will wanna buy me if they knew my wife could take their heads off and shove it up their..
Female Voice: Sssh. Don't say that. The camera is still rolling. Okay, so no wife stuff. Ummm...tell them about our clan?
Alaan: The clan? That's really boring shit, Tam. But I can't tell them about the undercover activities of the elite Seeker corps and I can't think of anything else right now. So the clan it is. But you owe me a blow job later for making me talk about this bland-as-a-saltine-cracker subject, woman.
Female Voice: Yeah, yeah. Get on with it. As if a blowjob is troublesome or something considering what I get every time I go down on you. And if I decide to be wicked you don't last more than...
Alaan: Hey! Quiet on the set!
*Alaan turns back to the camera, unsuccessfully hiding a sexy grin*
Alaan: So where was I? I'm the only son of the Elders Serati, rulers of the Western Territories and members of the Council. Of the ten clans, Clan Serati is the only matriachical clan in the vampire nation and I was just the luckiest bastard to be born into it. Pffft. As if. Why do we have to get the warrior chicks, huh? Somebody please explain why on all of this green earth my clan had to be saddled with such pain in the a...
Female Voice: I'm going to tell your mother!
Alaan: *snort* Go ahead. Anyway, me and my partner, Jon Bixler, Bix for short, outrank them when we're on the field. I must admit my clan has some ferocious fighters and if I had to have someone at my back, I'd take a Serati female over anyone...especially those harem keeping pasty faced skinny assed Clan Hatsept playboys. Anyway, off the court, Serati's women are in charge. Sort of. At my house, the bedroom is my domain. And there, I rule baby.
Female voice: You call this extolling the wonders of our clan, Alaan? That blowjob is beginning to look like a remote possibility rather than a sure thing.
Alaan: What? What I say?
Here is some more information on the books in the Vampire Council Series!
Carinian's Seeker
Beautiful genius, Carinian Derrickson, wants to live long enough to date a man from the future generations of spacemen, complete with ray guns and starships. She’s not crazy, she’s just afraid of dying young of some dreaded disease, like all the rest of her family. Her research into gene therapy has shown her the way to extend her life is by emulating traits only before seen in fiction. Vampire fiction. Only the beings that shouldn’t exist are very real indeed.
Unknown to her, there’s a bad boy vampire in the lab next door with a goal quite the opposite of hers. If he has his way, he’ll bring the Vampire Council of Ethics (V.C.O.E.) to its knees.
Jon Bixler is a Seeker for the Council – an assassin and undercover operative in a world of humans. Bix must get close enough to this rogue to find out exactly how he plans to dismantle the Council. And Carinian is just the ticket. But when he meets her, all his vampire common sense flies out the window as his libido leaps off the charts. What’s he going to do now that the woman is in danger and secretly trying to do the impossible?
Bix and Carin can’t deny the combustion of love and lust between them. They accept their mating. But can they stay alive long enough to enjoy it?
Serati's Flame
For two Seekers of justice, hunting rogues is dangerous business. But not as dangerous as their yearning for each other.
There’s a rogue on the loose, and the Vampire Council of Ethics has just the man for the job. Alaan Serati, along with his team of elite fighters, is a Seeker for the V.C.O.E. The lethal vampire law enforcement assassin is also the most eligible bachelor of Clan Serati. His job: Take out the rogue vampire who killed his mate years ago. But working with a fellow Seeker quickly becomes a pain in his backside. How is he supposed to accomplish the mission if he can’t keep his mind or his hands off of his fellow officer?
For more years than she wants to remember, Tameth Serati-Cole has worked almost every day, side by side, with the gruff and gorgeous Alaan. It’s been hell considering the special bond between them, something rarely developed between mates. But Alaan doesn’t really want her. He’s still pining away for the woman taken from him years ago. So when he declares his need to bond with her, this lady Seeker ain’t biting…even if she’s wanted to since the day they met.
Hatsept Heat
Shinju is a woman after my own heart. She can cook, she can nurture, and she can kick butt, if need be. And she needs to, because vampires are making her life extremely complicated. Her mate, Kenoe, is the embodiment of “kickass-ivity” and his hunt for rogues places her life in danger. It doesn’t help that both of them are hiding things from the other. Apparently neither aced Relationship 101, because at several points this relationship jumps the track.
